Why listen to me?
Hi I'm Margie
I have been helping leaders for 30 years reach their full potential. My first job was in a male-dominated industry. Over the past 10 years I have had a focus on helping leaders in the mining and resources industry, ranging from start-ups exploration companies through to global giants. I have heavily researched and witnessed the differences in male and female leaders in this industry and why women continue to have low representation in leadership roles. I am also on the Women in Mining and Resources Committee for Queensland (WiMARQ), and speak at industry conferences across Australia.
I love what I do, and my goal in life is to help as many people as I can, love their work. We spend so much time working, and my training and life experience has shown me that when we know how to work towards our potential, everything is better. I personally discovered this when I decided to become a registered Psychologist, author and speaker.
After attending my events, or completing my programs leaders tell me they have a new way of thinking and being that is immediately impacting their work and life. That they feel happier and healthier, and have the skills and confidence to always stand in their potential, and take their people with them.
The great news is clients I worked with years ago, tell me they continue to practice the strategies they have learnt as they are practical and effective. My programs not only work, they have been proven to work. Everything I do, is backed by science, but most importantly centred around commercial success and easy to apply. FAQs
Is this for all genders or just women?
This is for all genders. While the research on non-binary if very light on the ground, you will learn how males and females can show up differently at work, particularly under stress and when wanting to advance in their careers.
Is this for all levels or only leaders?
My work focusses more on leaders of all levels, however this program would suit employees who have potential or a passion to be in a leadership role.
Does this service come with handouts or worksheets?
Yes, you will receive a workbook that covers each step of the program and a couple of very helpful bonus guides
Is there a limit to how many people can do this event at one time?
No. However, room size and capacity will be discussed for in-person workshops. For Virtual delivery we will discuss the best way to set this up for the best experience. Typically, everyone is connecting via their own laptop or device. I prefer not do Hybrid events were some people are in a room and some are not.
Is this program a live or recorded program?
At this stage all events are Live. However for Virtual Experiences, we will discuss if recording the session will be of value to you.
Is this program better done as a group or individual?
Both. This will suit associations wishing to bring individuals together or for organisations wishing to bring teams together.
Is there any next steps following this workshop to get the best value?
As your principal facilitator of this course I will organise a post course discussion with the key stakeholders to discuss feedback on the program and identify what could be the next steps for you or your organisation. This is always unique, which is why we recommend you have the follow up discussion.
